ICBA Sanshou national finals

Congratulations to the Blue Dragon Iron Fist team who competed in the ICBA sanshou national finals on 8/12/12. The team were lead on the day by Coach Ferdia (Macker) McMahon and after weigh in and registration were complete the team warmed up and got ready for their match ups.
With an impressive haul of 13 medals comprising of gold silver and bronze between the 16 strong team everyone who was there to support the team were very happy and proud of how the team represented themselves and their club!
What an end to a fantastic year.....
2013 will see the team compete in the 5 upcoming ICBA sanshou tournaments and we hope to have as much success and support as we had this year!
BDIF would like to extend a thank you to lead Coach Macker for his help,support and guidance over the past years!
Onwards and upwards.. Courage Honour Strength...

San Shou Fighting

We are happy to announce that BDIF are now entering San Shou fighting in association with ICBA
our coaching team are selecting the first fight squad this week and our first fights are scheduled for october 20&21 2012.
it is an exciting time for everyone involved and Sifu Keith is at the reins driving us forward!
If you have any questions or would like to try out for the squad drop in and have a chat with the team!

Grading Day 28/04/2012

Mixed Grading Day

Congratulations to Sean Higgins on a well earned Yellow sash today. some nice breaking and good technique!
congrats to Gavin Cullen on a very good Purple sash grading. good technique and a good under standing of all required.
Congrats to Ray Cleary on a clinical Red Sash grading. lovely breaking and firm understanding of technique required for the grade.
